My sister-in-law gave me a sketchbook that came with this ink powder when she went to Colonial Williamsburg. It came with a feather quill, but I messed it up when I cut the tip. I think I may have salvaged it, but I forgot about that when I decided to try this ink out. I used a metal quill from the art store to do the drawing above using this ink powder. It's not bad. I put the ink in a baby food jar because it seals pretty well. It gives you just as much ink as a premixed one. The powder stains your fingers a bit when you're putting it together, but that's a given working with any type of ink. It scrubs off the sink with Comet. I didn't have a problem at all with it staining the sink.
