I was supposed to be practicing drawing figures while watching a karate class, but I reverted back to drawing faces which I didn't realize until my husband pointed it out. I made up this girl's face, but my intention was to draw her hair. While I was drawing the kids, I noticed that everyone had different hairstyles. I started drawing the kids according to their hairstyles. In doing so, the drawings ended up looking more like who they were supposed to look like than before. Hmmm...I guess we could, in a sense, draw hairstyles and leave the face blank which would still capture the essence of the person. Hey, I learned something new about drawing.
