Homemade Sketchbooks

These are the first two cloth-covered sketchbooks I made. It was a long process, but fun. The one with the monster motif was the first one I made. I made a few mistakes, so it's not the greatest thing you ever saw, but I still like it. It has watercolor paper in the interior, so I'm looking forward to using it. The second one came out much better than the first.

This is a close-up of the material I used for the second one:

I bought most of the materials at Jo-Ann Fabrics. With the emailed coupons and sales, the cost of the sketchbooks were much cheaper than if I had bought them premade at the store.

I learned to make them from Sea Lemon DIY on YouTube.

With the excess material, I made bookmarks.
